Job description
- Serve as the day-to-day technical point of contact for the Salesforce delivery vendor, coordinating intake, clarifications, estimates, and delivery timelines for larger initiatives
- Translate business needs into well-defined user stories/requirements and acceptance criteria; support backlog grooming and sprint planning for internal and vendor work
- Review vendor solution designs and deliverables for adherence to platform standards, security requirements, scalability, and maintainability; coordinate peer/SME reviews as needed
- Provide platform support across Development, QA/UAT, and Production, including defect triage, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance
- Deliver smaller enhancements and break-fix work using configuration-first approaches and code when needed
- Coordinate testing and releases across internal teams and the vendor, including deployment planning, UAT support, release communications, and post-deployment validation
- Administer Salesforce user access, including user provisioning, role hierarchies, permission sets, and license management
- Support data integration workstreams with internal data teams and the delivery vendor; help define requirements, validate mappings, and coordinate cutovers
- Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise data platforms, including API connectivity and monitoring
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate data synchronization failures, performance issues, and data integrity concerns
- Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to intake requests, clarify requirements, and prioritize work across maintenance, small enhancements, and vendor-led initiatives
- Provide technical guidance during discovery and solutioning, including identifying configuration-first options, risks, dependencies, and support impacts
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for internal and vendor-delivered changes, ensuring acceptance criteria are met before promotion to production
- Communicate status, risks, and technical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences, including vendor and internal stakeholders
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve platform reliability, and standardize patterns for vendor and internal delivery
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate requirements drafting, solution options analysis, troubleshooting, test scenario generation, and technical documentation, while following data privacy and security guidelines
Requirements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, * High School diploma required
- Three (3) years of Salesforce development and administration experience required; regulated or high compliance environments preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flows, and SOQL
- Intermediate knowledge of practices to support enterprise data integrations involving Salesforce Core
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and data synchronization concepts
- Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce security, access controls, and environment deployments
- Proficiency with using AI-assisted tools to improve the speed and quality of analysis, documentation, and delivery, while adhering to confidentiality and secure data-handling practices
