Job description
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in end-to-end (E2E) testing, API testing, and test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript. This role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM).
- Perform End-to-End (E2E), UI, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
- Automate testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers.
- Develop and execute API tests using Playwright APIRequestContext or Postman.
- Create data-driven and reusable automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Generate and maintain test reports using Playwright HTML Reports and Allure.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Track defects and test progress using Jira.
- Maintain source code using Git and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of QA Automation experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with Node.js and npm.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
- Experience implementing the Page Object Model (POM).
- Knowledge of REST API testing.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
