Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to advise and direct the team managing the DoW enterprise COOP/COG SharePoint portal to ensure the availability, performance, and security of all applications within the JSP portfolio. This individual will oversee the architecture, planning, and implementation across SharePoint Online and on-premises platforms; implement secure collaboration and Power Platform automation; and enforce governance, records-management, and information-sharing compliance across classified and unclassified networks.

To be considered, you must have an active DoD Secret clearance to start, with the eligibility to upgrade to a Top Secret/SCI as required by the portal environment and site access. You MUST be local to the DC Metro Area and live within a commutable distance of the Pentagon for full-time onsite work., Maintain oversight of the structure and content of the DoW COOP/COG Portal on the DISA Defense Enterprise Portal Service, including readiness-status reporting for continuity facilities. Install, configure, and manage SharePoint site collections, permissions, storage limits, and security settings across Online and on-premises platforms. Manage the Department-level DoW COOP/COG Portal used as the automated repository for COOP plans, DRPs, ERG membership, readiness reporting, trouble-tracking, and ERG check-in during activations and exercises. Design, test, and implement automated workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Teams integration, including AI-assisted routing, approvals, and continuity reporting. Plan and execute migrations to SharePoint Online and manage content lifecycle and archiving. Act as Tier II support for the portal, coordinating Tier III service calls with DISA/DEOS on outages and anomalies. Develop AI-assisted content classification and retention to ensure compliance with DoW records-management requirements, and integrate AI-driven enterprise search. Develop and maintain an enterprise DR Portal (within the DoW COOP Portal) integrating automated ISCP workflows to centralize DRPs, ISCPs, Annex Ks, and CyberCOOP documentation and to map system dependencies to MEFs. Manage user access controls and permissions; develop user guides, deliver training, and serve as portal SME to increase adoption. Coordinate portal operations and enhancements with the DoW Continuity Working Group chaired by OUSW(Policy); produce AARs; and provide meeting minutes and ITSCM updates.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Telecommunications, or Management Information Systems; or five (5) recent years of documented experience relevant to the position.

Clearance: Secret minimum; Top Secret/SCI as required by portal environment and site access. U.S. Citizenship.

Certifications: DoW 8570.01-M / DoW 8140 (IAT/IAM as applicable) certification.

Required Experience:

Minimum five (5) years of work-related experience managing an enterprise-level SharePoint Online (SPO) environment or SharePoint Server Subscription Edition at an enterprise level. Minimum five (5) years of work-related experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Teams integration. Demonstrated ability to manage small-to-large applications in a complex environment. Managing mission-critical applications configured to support resource relocations when needed. Event management of applications experiencing service impact. Application management on Windows Server 2019 and higher and Red Hat Linux 7.0 and higher. Minimum five (5) years of work-related experience across networks; physical and virtual servers; systems management; Public Key Infrastructure; IT customer support; VMware technologies; database administration (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle); web server and application administration (IIS and Apache); application security; and project management. Knowledge of current information technologies and computing platforms - cloud computing, server virtualization, unified communications, collaboration tools, and enterprise services.
