Job description

o The Active Directory senior engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining enterprise-level Active Directory (AD) environments. This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant identity and access management across the organization. Key responsibilities o Deploy and manage Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and organizational units. o Deploy and manage 14 applications supporting Active Directory. o Update software and configurations to address vulnerabilities. o Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex AD issues, including authentication, replication, and access control. o Develop, update and enforce security standards for AD, including privileged access management and audit logging. o Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and application teams to integrate AD with enterprise systems and cloud platforms. o Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance for AD operations and best practices. o Participate in compliance reviews and risk assessments related to identity and access management. o Manage workload in Jira using Agile principles.

Requirements

o Extensive experience with Active Directory administration in large enterprise environments. o Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS, and related technologies. o Proven ability to design and implement secure AD architectures. o Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred). o Familiarity with IAM frameworks, privileged access management, and compliance requirements. Preferred skills o Experience with Azure AD, hybrid identity solutions, and cloud integrations. o Strong communication and collaboration skills. o Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership. o Experience with HyperV Management. Must Haves: o 5 + years Active Directory Engineering o Power Shell Scripting o Experience with Domain Controller Virtualization. o Experience building domain controllers o Experience with Domain Controller Management/Administration o Experience using Jira o Experience working in Agile environment.

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $64-67/hr.
