Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise semantic models in Microsoft Fabric.
- Build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services.
- Develop and optimize data models, including dimensions, facts, hierarchies, relationships, and reusable business metrics.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) to enforce secure data access.
- Create and optimize DAX measures and semantic models for enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and publish data from multiple enterprise data sources.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and metadata management across the data platform.
- Optimize query performance for large-scale analytical workloads.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Support enterprise compliance initiatives, including SOX controls, audit readiness, and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, testing, and production support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong experience with Databricks.
- Expertise in Data Modeling (Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Semantic Models).
- Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, ADLS, Synapse/Fabric).
- Knowledge of DAX, Power BI Semantic Models, and enterprise reporting.
- Experience implementing RLS and OLS security models.
- Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD deployment practices.
