Job description

  • Investigate, triage, and remediate security incidents using enterprise security tools.
  • Configure and support endpoint protection, vulnerability management, DLP, email/web security, IDS/IPS, encryption, and firewall technologies.
  • Monitor security events, analyze logs, and respond to escalated security issues.
  • Manage, configure, and maintain corporate firewall infrastructure and network security controls.
  • Perform infrastructure and application risk assessments and recommend security improvements.
  • Research emerging threats and implement new security solutions and best practices.
  • Partner with IT teams, auditors, vendors, and business stakeholders on cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Maintain security documentation, ensure compliance with industry standards, and participate in the Cybersecurity Operations on-call rotation.
  • Conduct security testing, control reviews, and performance assessments to strengthen the security posture.

Requirements

  • Experience in cybersecurity administration or security operations.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI Model, routing, switching).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including IDS/IPS, DLP, brute-force attacks, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with firewalls, endpoint security, antivirus, encryption, log analysis, and SIEM/security monitoring tools.
  • Ability to analyze security threats, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information.
  • Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, and security compliance initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
