Quality Assurance Automated Tester - Hybrid

As a Quality Assurance Automated Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring enterprise applications are designed, tested, and deployed with the highest standards of quality, reliability, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability. You will play a critical role in both automated and manual testing efforts for large-scale distributed systems, collaborating closely with development teams, product owners, business stakeholders, and operations teams. This role requires hands-on expertise in test automation, Agile methodologies, continuous integration practices, and enterprise application testing to support current and future business needs., * Develop, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise-level applications and distributed systems.

• Perform both automated and manual testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Follow established testing architectures, frameworks, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, backend services, APIs, databases, and integrated systems.
• Create and manage technical documentation related to testing strategies, frameworks, and automation processes.
• Assist with testing activities related to application modernization, migration, and system integration initiatives.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and test scenarios to define effective testing approaches.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, operations teams, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support Agile delivery teams in achieving quality objectives.
• Design and execute end-to-end, functional, regression, integration, performance, security, accessibility, and compatibility testing.
• Create automated test case scenarios aligned with acceptance criteria and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, automated functional tests, regression tests, load tests, and code coverage reporting.
• Validate accessibility compliance, cross-browser compatibility, mobile compatibility, and user interface quality.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release validation activities.
• Maintain automated testing libraries, frameworks, and test artifacts to ensure they remain current and effective.
• Track, document, and manage defects through resolution and closure.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks.
• Provide technical recommendations for improving testing efficiency and application quality.

• 5+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps Suite, including Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing using UFT (Unified Functional Testing), VBScript, or comparable automation technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks, manual testing methodologies, test strategies, and test environments.
• 5+ years of experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining UI, backend, API, and hardware test automation solutions.
• Experience participating in at least two large-scale Agile software development projects.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks, continuous integration methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience performing web application testing, distributed system testing, regression testing, integration testing, database testing, and performance testing.
• Experience with security testing, accessibility testing, mobile testing, and web service testing.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment environments.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and automated testing techniques.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
• Experience reviewing requirements and designing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise integration projects and implementing testing strategies for integrated environments.
• Knowledge of application architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and enterprise application design.
• Familiarity with .NET, SharePoint, Salesforce, and enterprise business applications.
• Understanding of data modeling and database design concepts preferred.
• Experience with UFT Functional Testing Suites preferred.
• Experience testing applications developed using C#, WCF, jQuery, XML, JSON, Web API, SOAP, .NET, and JavaScript preferred.
• Experience testing REST, SOAP, and WCF web services using tools such as SOAPUI preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce implementations preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint environments preferred.
• Experience with .NET Framework applications preferred.
• Knowledge of virtualized hosting environments preferred.
• Experience with MuleSoft integrations preferred.
• Strong SQL knowledge preferred.
