This position will support activities within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities., * Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
- Software installation and support of commercial software and related upgrades
- Update solutions database with applicable resolutions
- Problem solving, hardware/software installation and configuration based on computing standards, and client support for all network and desktop
- Monitors and enforces all IT policies and procedures
- Assist with setting up new users in IDAM and multiple level security LDAP profiles
- Installs and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware
- Maintains, upgrades and repairs PCs/laptops and Window desktop applications for all systems, We are seeking a Journeyman Computer User Support Specialist to join our team supporting 53rd Wing Technology in Nellis AFB, NV., The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. - Temporary Work Assignment: July 2026 through September 2027 (estimated). Dates are subject to change.

- Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday - Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.

Requirements
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Active IAT I or IAM I certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field
- Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or Information Technology/Assurance Specialists
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph, * BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
