Job description
- Leads AMS360 data conversion projects, working with subject matter experts, technical resources, and vendors to define conversion requirements and mapping standards.
- Analyzes source-system data structures and develops detailed field-level mapping specifications for AMS360.
- Executes and validates test conversions, reconciles results, and resolves data quality issues prior to production migration.
- Utilizes agentic AI tools to accelerate data quality checks, mapping activities, validation processes, and documentation.
- Creates and maintains conversion documentation, mapping rules, assumptions, data dictionaries, and issue logs.
- Works closely with project teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions under aggressive project timelines.
- Supports successful data integration, testing, and go-live activities by providing conversion expertise and working flexible hours as needed.
- Provides regular status updates and proactively identifies and escalates risks to project leadership.
- Takes ownership of project deliverables, ensuring conversion tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Supports data quality, cleansing, transformation, and normalization initiatives across multiple source systems.
- Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class client service experience.

Requirements
The Data Conversion Specialist leads data conversion projects into AMS360, including the analysis, mapping, migration, validation, and reconciliation of legacy data to ensure successful system implementations and clean go-live outcomes. The individual in this role must have strong expertise in AMS360 data conversion processes and a demonstrated ability to leverage agentic AI tools to accelerate data mapping, quality validation, and documentation efforts. Thie individual in this position actively collaborates with subject matter experts, technical resources, vendors, and project leadership to deliver high-quality data migration outcomes within established timelines., * High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in data conversion and migration projects.
- Insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience converting and migrating data into AMS360.
- Extensive experience with AMS360, ImageRight, BenefitPoint, Applied Epic, or other insurance agency management systems preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging agentic AI tools within production data conversion workflows.
- Proven track record successfully leading complex, deadline-driven data conversion projects.
- Experience transforming, cleansing, validating, and normalizing data from multiple source systems.
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data relationships.
- Proficiency with Excel, SQL, or other data analysis and validation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; expresses thoughts and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, to technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and remain effective under aggressive timelines and changing priorities.
- Ability to occasionally work flexible, non-standard hours to support testing, conversion and go-live activities.
