Job description

As a Data Scientist , you will play an important role in turning complex data into insights and predictive models that support supply chain, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and science & technology. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to apply advanced analytics to meaningful business challenges and help shape decisions that impact client's mission.

In this role,

  • You will partner closely with Procurement business users to understand their needs and recommend solutions that anticipate future changes.
  • You will design and build AI solutions utilizing data across structured and unstructured sources, including large datasets and batch or streaming environments.
  • You will develop advanced analytical models using supervised and unsupervised machine learning, statistical methods, and predictive modeling.
  • You will also create reports and dashboards that clearly communicate findings, and you may mentor and coach team members as part of your day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience using tools and languages such as Python, SQL, Spark, & PySpark
  • Machine learning
  • Data science platforms such as AWS, Apache Spark, NumPy, TensorFlow, Dataiku, or AWS SageMaker.

Nice to Have

  1. Experience with big data tools like spark or Databricks

  2. Experience building agentic solutions

  3. Experience with Deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, * Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and business analytics, along with hands-on experience using tools and languages such as R, Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark, and Hive.

  • Experience with data preparation, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and dashboard reporting is important, as is familiarity with cloud and data science platforms such as AWS, Apache Spark, NumPy, TensorFlow, Dataiku, or AWS SageMaker.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities., Candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years of experience. Experience with Agile project management is valued, as is a self-starter mindset and the ability to manage shifting requirements with confidence. Additional experience in personalization, search, deep learning, operations research, Linux/Unix, data mining, text mining, or manufacturing analytics is a plus.
