Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator II to support a mission-critical DoD environment. In this role, you will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems while supporting enterprise users, mission applications, and secure network operations. You'll work alongside experienced technical professionals to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure supporting national security missions., Systems Administration & Configuration
- Plan, coordinate, and install software applications and hardware peripherals on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Install, configure, support, and maintain desktop operating systems, server operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Provide system administration and configuration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and specialized mission applications.
- Participate in the planning, testing, integration, and implementation of new technologies.
- Test operating system and software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes before deployment to operational systems.
System Performance & Security
- Optimize the functionality and performance of hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and enhance overall system performance.
- Ensure the availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of servers, workstations, and data storage systems.
- Implement and verify security controls and preventative measures to maintain secure system operations.
User Support & Incident Management
- Respond to user requests for technical assistance and provide support for hardware and software issues while minimizing mission interruptions.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures.
- Identify and resolve common software and hardware problems, questions, and technical issues.
- Provide end-to-end incident management for all TRG networks.
- Coordinate authorized service interruptions and outages with affected customers.
- Respond to unexpected or unauthorized service interruptions and outages.
- Dispatch to supported facilities or locations as needed to provide end-user support.
User Account Administration
- Create, modify, and remove user accounts.
- Establish individual user accounts, including email provisioning.
- Set and reset user passwords.
Documentation & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain system administration standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical guides, and work instructions.
- Perform hardware repairs on designated server and client systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $96,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
Requirements
- Security+
- Three (3) years of Windows and/or Linux systems administration experience
Preferred:
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments
- Experience leading or coordinating technical teams, * Windows and/or Linux systems administration: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CI POLYGRAPH (Required)
Security clearance:
- Top Secret (Required)
