- Lead and facilitate lean manufacturing projects, including value stream mapping, waste reduction, and process standardization to maximize productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and data analysis to identify underlying problems.
- Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements aligned with business goals.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAD tools for designing schematics, layouts, and tooling modifications.
- Program and troubleshoot industrial automation equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, CNC machines, and vision inspection systems.
- Apply Six Sigma methodologies to reduce variability and enhance manufacturing quality through DMAIC cycles and statistical analysis.
- Lead engineering troubleshooting efforts related to plastics injection molding, welding processes, assembly lines, and fabrication equipment.
- Manage projects related to process engineering improvements in manufacturing facilities with a focus on lean management principles.
- Support the development of schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation for new tooling or automation systems.

Requirements
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Lean Specialist/Change Agent focused on Operational Excellence (OPEX) to lead transformative initiatives across manufacturing processes. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of lean management. As a key driver of change, you will utilize your expertise in industrial engineering, process improvement, and manufacturing systems to elevate operational efficiency and quality. Your energetic approach and strategic mindset will empower teams to achieve excellence in a fast-paced, innovative environment., * Extensive experience in project scheduling, project management within manufacturing environments, and factory experience.
- Strong knowledge of industrial engineering concepts including Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma manufacturing, ISO 9001 standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and process engineering.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with schematic design and CAD-based layout planning.
- Skilled in programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotic systems, CNC programming (CAM), vision inspection systems, and industrial automation equipment.
- Expertise in plastics injection molding processes, welding techniques, fabrication methods including tooling design and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving tools; excellent troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering data analysis; adept at using statistical tools for process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on results.
- Knowledge of schematics creation for electrical or mechanical systems; familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance protocols.
- Practicing industrial or manufacturing engineering roles with hands-on experience in assembly lines or fabrication environments preferred.
