Cyber Security Engineer

o Monitor and troubleshoot security log ingestion and log flow issues. o Onboard and maintain new security log sources within Sentinel. o Support SOC analysts by maintaining the security platform. o Troubleshoot Azure-related logging and connectivity issues. o Utilize Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps to support security integrations. o Provide day-to-day operational support for the enterprise security environment. o

o 5+ years of cybersecurity experience supporting enterprise security environments (3-5 years may be considered with strong security experience). o Hands-on experience administering Sentinel for log ingestion and security monitoring. o Strong experience with the Defender Suite, including Defender XDR. o Experience using Log Analytics to troubleshoot and maintain security log flows. o Working knowledge of Azure with the ability to troubleshoot security-related issues. o Experience supporting enterprise security platforms and security operations. Plusses: o Experience supporting an ISO 27001 environment. o Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps. o Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching. o Security certifications such as CCNP or other cybersecurity certifications. o Experience onboarding and troubleshooting security log sources. o Experience supporting enterprise SOC environments. o Familiarity with IDS/IPS log sources and security integrations.
