Job description
The Lee County Port Authority is seeking a professional and highly responsible individual that will oversee the records management system for the Airport Police Department. This role will also assist as a primary technician on the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system functionality and software applications, including data analysis, reporting, and management of peripheral systems such as Mobile Data Computers (MDC) and other software.
Requirements
- A valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire
- Associate's degree\ computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of experience in a law enforcement setting
- Must successfully pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and meet the requirements to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, through the SIDA training process and TSA
- Security Threat Assessment prior to employment
- Complete Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) limited access training within three months of hire. To apply and obtain CJIS security training, you must be a United States citizen or have been a lawful resident of the United States for the past 10 consecutive years
- Availability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) and respond to 24-hour holdovers/recalls for essential services and emergencies
