Principal Mobile Engineer - React Native, IoT

• Modernize Legacy Systems: Assess and overhaul our application landscape, deciding when to maintain, rebuild, or retire legacy native codebases.
• Hands-on Development: Deliver high-quality code and drive feature development for React Native and native applications.
• Elevate Engineering Standards: Improve release processes, observability, crash reporting, and platform compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cloud, platform, and design teams to ensure seamless IoT integration, device pairing, and user experiences.

• 7+ years of customer-facing mobile development experience
• Expertise in React Native, Swift, and Kotlin (Objective-C and Java experience is highly preferred!)
• Strong background in mobile architecture
• Experience with IoT and connected devices
• Proven ability to manage technical debt
• Proficiency in mobile CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong grasp of secure API integration
