Job description
You will be embedded in up-and-coming projects as an advanced security operations software engineer, responsible for the full product lifecycle including design, prototype development, deployment, and maintenance of all tools developed by the team.
- Augment existing tools.
- Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
- Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
- Produce end-to-end toolsets that can operate within mission constraints.
- Provide technical consulting support across various software products and technologies.
- Take part in peer code reviews.
Requirements

Experience producing and modifying software systems in C/C++/Python, with explicit experience in network programming.

Aptitude to provide support for fielded software systems.

Ability to coordinate and communicate with users of differing technical knowledge including operators, analysts, and other developers to deliver finished products to the customer.

Reverse engineering experience.

Familiarity with Git and Subversion.

Atlassian Tools (Confluence/Jira/Bamboo).

Experience with any of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.

Experience developing advanced security operations specific software in Linux/Windows/Embedded environments.

Familiarity with vulnerability research and exploit development.

Knowledge of malware reverse engineering.

Solid understanding of cryptography.

Understanding of signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.

Experience with production advanced security operations capabilities and operations.
Experience Required: 6 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years without degree; alternatively, 4 years with Master's degree in a technical field.
