Job description

The Data Engineer III plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the organization's modern cloud-based data platform. This position is responsible for building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and developing data models that enable business intelligence, analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with strong technical expertise who is passionate about building reliable, high-quality data solutions that support strategic business decisions., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end data ingestion pipelines from multiple internal and external data sources

  • Analyze existing data sources and implement efficient ingestion and transformation solutions
  • Build and support modern cloud-based data architecture using industry best practices
  • Develop and maintain data models that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives
  • Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data pipelines
  • Prepare and optimize enterprise data for machine learning and AI-driven applications
  • Assist in building and enhancing the organization's next-generation enterprise data platform
  • Support migration of existing dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions to the new data environment
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, software engineers, analysts, and leadership to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions
  • Optimize data quality, performance, governance, and reliability across the data ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement continuous improvements
  • Document technical solutions, architecture, and development standards
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members through collaboration and technical guidance

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years developing and supporting cloud-based data platforms and data engineering solutions Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Preferred), * 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data engineering solutions

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar modern data engineering platforms
  • Experience building enterprise data warehouses and dimensional data models
  • Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture and modern data lakehouse concepts
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Demonstrated experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and end-to-end data solutions
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • High emotional intelligence with a willingness to learn, mentor others, and share technical knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for continuous improvement and building high-quality, reliable data solutions
