• Drive innovation in x86/custom ARM silicon server architecture and contribute to the development of industry standards.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimization.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation.

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain., * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 8 years of experience programming in C++.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
• Experience with ARM CPUs, X86 CPUs, operating systems, cloud computing, and computer architecture., * Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience with server CPU and system architecture, benchmarking, and open source technologies.

Platforms Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) operates within the Google Cloud umbrella. PIE engineers design and build the software, hardware, computing platforms and networking technologies that power all of Google's services. The Platforms Compute software team is responsible for designing and developing the systems software, firmware, kernel and other low level software to bring up and run Google's custom designed Servers across x86, Advanced RISC Machines (ARM) and supporting these at scale in the fleet.
