Job description

CACI is seeking a to perform system administration functions in support of a critical mission based in . This role provides the opportunity to support enterprise infrastructure, enhance system reliability, and contribute to secure, mission focused operations.   • Perform day-to-day Linux system administration tasks across enterprise environments.
  • Deploy, configure, secure, and maintain Linux servers and associated services.
  • Monitor, patch, and upgrade Linux servers and network-connected resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Maintain and upgrade virtualized environments, including VMs and underlying hardware resources.
  • Implement and support security compliance controls and document non-applicable items as required.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and integration of new or replacement Linux-based hardware and software.
  • Integrate hardware/software solutions into existing network infrastructure.
  • Support the decommissioning and removal of outdated or replaced systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system inventory changes and configuration updates.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Linux, including hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL ) .
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
  • Experience patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
  • Virtualization/VM experience.
  • COMPTIA Security+ certification.

:

  • Ten (10) years experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Desired:

  • Dell and HPE Linux servers; Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls; Palo Alto firewalls; Ansible; Nutanix - VM management; Rubrik - data storage; Nomad containers; SALT scripts; LibreNMS; NetBox.
  • CSP (Cloud Service Provider) - AWS and/or Azure.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $103,800 - $218,100
