You will join a large Data department bringing together more than 160 professionals across multiple squads. Working in a collaborative Agile environment, you will partner with business stakeholders, analysts, product owners and developers to deliver data capabilities that support a wide range of business initiatives. The team combines local expertise with nearshore and offshore collaboration, offering the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact data challenges in a highly regulated environment.

Your Tasks

  • Design and maintain optimised data stores for APIs, reporting, analytics and BI tools.
  • Translate business needs into clear data models that developers can use.
  • Build and support reliable data flows from source systems to consumer-facing solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, analysts, product owners and technical teams.
  • Ensure data quality through validation rules, monitoring and metadata management.
  • Support compliance with data protection, security and banking governance requirements.
  • Identify improvements in data quality, efficiency, automation and tooling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data modelling or database environments.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, optimisation and performance tuning.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Good understanding of data warehouse modelling, such as Kimball, Inmon or Data Vault.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and data technologies such as Informatica PowerCenter, Spark or Astronomer is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
