The program

Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS)

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO's principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.

To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce. Role ID - RFP-RAM-05-26 Role Background HQ Allied Air Command (HQ AIRCOM), NATO, is seeking an experienced professional to support Air Situational Awareness Data Integration activities at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The successful candidate will help prepare, validate, integrate, and manage operational air-domain data used for dashboards, reporting, planning, situational awareness, and decision-making across NATO operations. Role Duties and Responsibilities

  • Integrate operational air-domain data into approved dashboards, reports, and workflows.

  • Gather and document data integration requirements from operational users and stakeholders.

  • Identify data sources, data owners, update schedules, and validation processes.

  • Prepare, organize, validate, and maintain operational datasets.

  • Coordinate data validation with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and data owners.

  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and duplicate information.

  • Create and maintain workflow maps, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training materials.

  • Support user testing and validation of data products and workflows.

  • Assist operational reporting, planning activities, exercises, and decision- support functions.

  • Maintain data quality logs and track corrective actions.

  • Troubleshoot data access, formatting, validation, and reporting issues.

  • Work closely with AIRCOM teams, technical staff, NATO organizations, and operational stakeholders.

  • Provide regular progress updates and maintain project documentation.

  • Support knowledge transfer and deliver final project documentation. Essential Skills, Experience and Certifications, Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany Occasional travel may be required to:

  • Torrejón, Spain Working Policy On-site position based at HQ AIRCOM, Ramstein Air Base. Work outside normal business hours may occasionally be required with prior approval. Travel

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered instead of a formal qualification. Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: o Data Integration o Data Management o Information Management o Data Analysis o Business Intelligence o Operational Reporting o Decision Support

  • Experience preparing and validating operational datasets.

  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and workflow documentation.

  • Experience working with operational users, SMEs, and data owners.

  • Experience maintaining data quality and governance processes.

  • Experience supporting testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.

  • Experience supporting planning, reporting, or operational decision- making. Technical Skills
