We are seeking a passionate Software Developer (m/f/d) to join our team in Karlsruhe (Germany) and develop high-performance software for advanced XRD data analysis. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, enhance, and expand existing numerical libraries for the analysis of XRD measurements
  • Improve performance of numerical computations
  • Develop and further enhance software products
  • Design and implement new algorithms and methodologies
  • Define software interfaces between different software products
  • Maintain and extend automated test coverage

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in a scientific discipline (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related field); knowledge of X-ray Diffraction (XRD) is a plus
  • Strong expertise in numerical methods and software development
  • Extensive experience modernizing and optimizing legacy code
  • Proven experience in scientific computing
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C++, Fortran, Python, C#, and Assembly language programming
  • Experience in software architecture design and development
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German proficiency is a plus.
