Job description
As a Field Service Technician at Micron, you will play a crucial role in supporting and troubleshooting a variety of IT assets. Your expertise will ensure that our users have a seamless experience with their devices and software, contributing to our world-class standards. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of an ambitious team in Munich, Germany!, * Install, configure, and update PCs and portable devices
- Maintain orderly IT rooms and install equipment into data center cabinets
- Provide support for client software, including Office 365 and Teams
- Install and upgrade software applications
- Open and coordinate tickets with remote IT support groups
- Qualify service requests and route them to the appropriate resolution teams
- Develop automations leveraging AI to improve task efficiency
Requirements
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, or a similar field
- Several years of experience in Service Desk or Field Services technician positions
- Understanding and experience with the Windows environment (OS, SCCM, AD, O365, etc.)
- Business-level English, intermediate German
- Valid German driving license, * High school diploma or bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, or a similar area
- Over 5 years of experience in Service Desk or Field Services technician positions
- Experience working in electronics laboratories
- Solid understanding of the Windows environment and Linux
- Basic knowledge of network administration
- Strong attitude towards teamwork
- Good communication skills
- Business-level English, intermediate German
- Valid German driving license

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
