Job description
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving our test automation strategy, ensuring quality across web, mobile, and API products throughout the entire development lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building frameworks from the ground up, promoting modern quality practices, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software., * Design and develop test cases using BDD methodologies and Gherkin language.
- Create, maintain, and optimize automated E2E tests for web and mobile applications.
- Design and develop automated API and integration tests.
- Design and develop automated tests for native Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Collaborate with development teams from early stages of the software lifecycle, driving Shift Left Testing practices.
- Integrate and maintain test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to the evolution of our automation framework and associated tooling.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Analyze quality risks and propose improvements to processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Promote a quality culture within cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of professional experience in QA Automation.
- Design or evolution of automation frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining E2E automation with Cypress.
- Solid experience automating API tests through code and tools such as Postman.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data validation.
- Experience working with version control systems (Git).
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Analytical mindset, quality orientation, and ability to work collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Application of AI to testing and quality assurance processes.
- Quality strategies for distributed architectures and microservices.
