Job description
We are seeking a Senior IT Integrator to lead high-paced customer migration within ING's One Business Banking programme. This international transformation initiative scales the Dutch Business Banking platform into a reusable solution for multiple countries. You will drive complex, cross-domain delivery across Business, IT, and Architecture in a highly regulated banking environment, ensuring successful customer transitions with minimal operational impact., * Lead end-to-end customer migration delivery, from planning and cutover strategy through execution and rollout, ensuring data integrity and business continuity
- Coordinate delivery across multiple tribes and systems, identifying and managing cross-domain dependencies and risks
- Act as the integrator between business, technology, and data teams to align migration approach and sequencing
- Drive critical decisions on scope, cutover strategy, and readiness in a time-critical, high-stakes environment
- Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, migration readiness, and go/no-go decisions
- Identify and surface risks early (data quality, sequencing, operational impact) and drive mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, integration patterns, and data migration principles
Work environment
You will operate within an international Agile setup, working closely with senior business and technology leadership. The role is based at ING's Amsterdam office (Acanthus) and involves managing large, complex stakeholder groups in a politically sensitive, high-tension environment. You will work 36 hours per week in a structured yet dynamic delivery environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT Integration, Programme Management, or Project Management in complex environments
- Proven track record delivering customer migrations in banking (critical requirement)
- Strong understanding of banking systems, processes, and Business Banking operations
- Experience delivering in international Agile environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior business and technology leadership
- Strong communication abilities: able to articulate both deep technical detail and executive-level messaging
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and decisions in complex, politically sensitive environments
- Prior experience at ING is a plus
