Job description

  • Shape how data is structured, governed and consumed across the business
  • Design scalable data models
  • Build robust ELT pipelines in Databricks using SQL, Python and PySpark
  • Integrate data from multiple internal and third-party systems
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics Engineers to ensure data is reliable, well-governed and ready for business intelligence, automation and AI-powered solutions
  • Challenge existing approaches and improve platform architecture
  • Help define long-term data standards

  • Support, We are recruiting a Data Engineer to join our organisation as we modernise our enterprise data platform and prepare for the next generation of analytics and AI-driven solutions. We are a business undergoing significant transformation, including a major CRM migration and ongoing investment in modern cloud technologies. The role offers genuine influence over technical direction and the opportunity to work within a growing data team. This is a hybrid position with three days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • Experience with Databricks, SQL, Python and PySpark
  • Experience building and optimising ELT and data pipelines
  • Experience with data modelling, lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms
  • Experience with Azure data services
  • Experience with API and third-party system integration
  • Experience with data quality, governance, metadata and lineage
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD and engineering best practices
