Job description

  • Deliver consulting assignments as a Senior Power Platform Developer.
  • Assist and advise in requirements gathering by meeting with stakeholders to define business and functional requirements and system goals.
  • Re-engineer business processes and advise on enhancements using Power Platform best practice.
  • Build and implement Power Platform solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews of other peoples solutions, including apps and flows.
  • Support and develop other team members knowledge of new Microsoft Power Platform functionality.
  • Work within agile delivery practices, including sprint planning and backlog documentation.
  • Ensure solutions align with Power Platform capabilities and are not over-engineered.

  • SharePoint, We are offering a 6-month contract with scope to extend for a Senior Power Platform Developer, paying £500 to £550 per day inside IR35. This is a remote role with 2 days per month on site in Telford. We use Power Apps and Power Automate, mainly with SharePoint as the data source, and we are looking for someone who can help us deliver rapid value to our clients while contributing to strong patterns, standards, and team capability.

Requirements

  • An understanding of MS365 and Power Platform out-of-the-box functionality and limits.
  • Demonstrable skills in building Power Platform solutions.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas and solutions in line with Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.
  • Experience working in an agile methodology, planning projects in sprints and writing epics, features, and user stories.
  • Ability to work to defined patterns and standards and contribute to improving them.
  • Ability to judge when a solution should not be a Power App and avoid over-engineering.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate, with SharePoint as a primary data source.
  • A desire to continually develop other team members knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including roadmaps and certification support.
