Security Architect - AWS

• Assess our current AWS security architecture and design improvements to strengthen our security posture
• Define and enhance security controls across encryption, Data Loss Prevention, and image hardening
• Produce security architecture, standards, and recommendations aligned to NIST best practice
• Design security governance and change management processes across our cloud environments
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and support the delivery of security uplift initiatives
• Work across multiple workstreams and adapt priorities as programme requirements evolve

• Proven experience as a Security Architect within AWS cloud environments
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS security services and cloud security best practices
• Experience with NIST or similar security frameworks
• Knowledge of DLP, encryption, and security hardening
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced contract environment
