Job description
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Deploy, configure, and maintain security tooling across cloud environments
- Work with engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and operational resilience
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
- Contribute to automation initiatives and security-by-design practices

- Terraform, We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team and help build, deploy, and support the security tooling that protects our large-scale cloud platforms. This is a hands-on AWS DevSecOps role focused on Infrastructure as Code, automation, and security practices. You will work closely with our security, cloud, and software engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and operational efficiency across our technology estate. The role is based in Oxfordshire with one day per week in the office, and the salary is £50,000 to £58,000.
Requirements
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, or vulnerability management platforms
- Scripting experience using Python, Shell, or similar languages
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch or New Relic
- Understanding of DevOps, Agile, and cloud security best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
