Job description

  • Provide responsive IT helpdesk support, troubleshooting software, hardware, phones, and printers.
  • Build, configure, and deploy PCs, laptops, and other hardware devices.
  • Manage internal desk moves, including network patching and physical equipment setup.
  • Administer user accounts, system profiles, and access permissions.
  • Administer and support the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Deliver effective remote technical support for users across different company locations.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in an IT Administration or IT Support role.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Solid understanding of hardware setup, basic networking, and general IT infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical approach to resolving technical issues.
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to explain technical terms clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence and business insurance, with occasional travel between local offices required.

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded, progressive professional services business based in Poole, Dorset. This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with a salary of £24,000 to £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
