Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished IT Network Managerfor the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP).This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to contribute to this landmark project that is poised to deliver transformative impacts across economic, transportation, and environmental sustainability.

The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. This is a milestone project that is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

As the IT Network Manager, youll play a pivotal role in the delivery of this significant project. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fastmoving environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and wants to contribute to a missiondriven team.

What Youll Do

  • Lead and optimize Cisco Meraki network infrastructure (MX, switches, WAPs, cameras, SDWAN, security integrations).
  • Manage Windows 11 endpoints, Dell hardware, and Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange).
  • Oversee identity, compliance, and device management through Intune, Entra ID, GPO baselines, and Conditional Access.
  • Administer NinjaOne for patching, remote management, software deployment, and ticketing workflows.
  • Maintain IT governance: DR/BCP runbooks, SOPs, asset tracking, vendor coordination, and security best practices.
  • Mentor junior IT staff and evaluate emerging technologies (VDI/AVD) to enhance performance and user experience.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in IT network administration or IT operations management.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco Meraki, Windows 11, AutoPilot, and Dell hardware.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online).
  • Experience with cloud security tools (Azure Sentinel, SIEM platforms, Cisco Umbrella).
  • Proven Tier 2 support capability with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Intune/Entra ID, GPO baselines, NinjaOne, ABM, Global Relay, and HRIS integrations.

Preferred: CCNA/CCNP, Network+, MS-900, VDI/AVD experience, ITIL knowledge, or a related degree.
