Designs and/or develops software, systems, and system-to-system connections to achieve specified outcomes, capabilities, and architectures for data management.

Creates and reviews IT architecture design and network topologies, and leads the development of approaches to support infrastructure, applications, and data.

Provides technical guidance in the interpretation and application of policies, processes, and procedures related to software development, system modernization, and data management.

In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:

Designing cloud-native architectures using platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to implement scalable infrastructure components across multiple availability zones;

Developing enterprise-level applications using modern programming open-source languages (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, Drupal) and closed-source software languages (Salesforce) to build application programming interfaces (APIs), microservices, or user interfaces for distributed systems;

Implementing DevSecOps pipelines and automated testing frameworks to integrate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes while applying cybersecurity and access-management principles to ensure compliance with federal security standards; AND
-
Serving as a technical advisor on cross-functional Agile or Scrum development teams to provide guidance on system integration solutions, IT policies, Software as a Service implementations, or security requirements for enterprise systems.
