Job description
We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to provide L2L3 support for critical enterprise applications The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python Oracle PLSQL SQL databases Informatica UnixLinux administration and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk The role involves incident resolution problem management release support job scheduling performance monitoring and ensuring application availability in a 24x7 production environment, Provide L2L3 production support for critical business applications and ensure high availability
Monitor application database and infrastructure health using Splunk Dynatrace and operational dashboards
Analyze and troubleshoot application database ETL and batch processing issues
Support Oracle and SQL Server databases including query analysis and performance optimization
Manage Informatica workflows ETL jobs and batch scheduling using Autosys Quartz or Airflow
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents
Coordinate with development infrastructure and business teams during incident resolution
Drive change implementation release validation and production deployment support activities
Maintain runbooks support documentation SOPs and knowledge repositories
Ensure compliance with SLA availability and operational excellence requirements
Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency
Participate in oncall support and major incident management activities
Requirements
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and production support best practices
Experience working in missioncritical banking financial or enterprise environments
Excellent troubleshooting communication and stakeholder management skills Skills
