Job description

We are hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to oversee our cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and platform scaling initiatives. In this role, you will design robust system architectures, establish repeatable infrastructure deployment patterns, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure our hosted services remain highly secure, resilient, and performant.

This is a technical leadership role for an engineer who prioritizes systemic reliability, clear architectural standards, and automated workflows. You will partner with development and security teams to eliminate deployment bottlenecks and modernize our production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade, highly available cloud topologies and microservices architectures.
  • Standardize infrastructure provisioning, environment replication, and configuration management using declarative systems like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Optimize and scale continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support frequent, low-risk software releases.
  • Manage, secure, and troubleshoot containerized workloads deployed across orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Implement centralized telemetry, logging, and application performance monitoring to detect anomalies and minimize system downtime.
  • Architect and test automated disaster recovery, backup configurations, and data replication strategies.
  • Collaborate with security teams to integrate automated vulnerability scanning, secure secret storage, and strict IAM governance into core cloud resources.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise building and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) architectures and running production Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong background managing core networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, VPCs, load balancers) and optimizing cloud databases.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments and a scripting language (such as Python, Go, or Bash) to develop custom system integrations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a technical discipline (equivalent practical engineering experience is fully recognized).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or CKA certifications are preferred.
