Job description
The .NET Developer (Warehouse Applications) builds and maintains the applications that run our warehouse operations. This is primarily a hands-on development role, building new features and improving existing systems, with a support component covering the early shift. The role works the 6 AM - 2 PM shift and is part of our morning support coverage because operations start early., * Build and maintain .NET applications that support warehouse and fulfillment operations.
- Develop new features and improve existing systems, writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code review and follow the team's development, branching, and deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot data and integration issues across applications, services, and databases.
- Provide production support during the early shift, including responding to warehouse floor issues and on-call alerts and seeing them through to resolution.
- Work directly with warehouse managers and operations staff to understand problems and deliver fixes.
- Document work clearly in Jira, keep ticket statuses current, and communicate status to the team and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years building and supporting applications with C# and .NET.
- Solid SQL Server skills, including writing and troubleshooting queries.
- Experience with web applications such as Blazor, ASP.NET, or React.
- Experience with source control, both Git and SVN.
- Experience with messaging or integration tooling. RabbitMQ strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting production systems and resolving live issues, and a habit of asking for help early when blocked.
- Clear written communication and disciplined documentation.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude for development, troubleshooting, and analysis. This is a must for the role.
- Able to work the 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM shift. This is not negotiable for this position.
PREFFERED, NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience with warehouse management, fulfillment, or logistics systems.
- Experience with Jira and PagerDuty.
- Exposure to automated material handling or robotics integrations.
