SAP Techno-Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Lead with 10-15 years of SAP consulting experience to lead SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, data migration programs, and enterprise business process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of functional expertise and technical knowledge across SAP modules while driving end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation, migration, integration, and support projects.

The candidate will play a critical role in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, leading business stakeholders, technical teams, data migration workstreams, and offshore/onshore resources to ensure successful project execution and business adoption.

Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Leadership & Solution Delivery

• Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, migration, and transformation projects.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, developers, and project leadership teams.
• Drive solution design workshops, business process analysis, and requirement gathering sessions.
• Provide techno-functional expertise across SAP modules and integrated business processes.
• Ensure SAP solutions align with organizational objectives, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Lead project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and governance activities.

Data Migration Leadership

• Lead end-to-end SAP data migration activities from legacy systems and SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Define migration strategies, migration waves, cutover plans, and reconciliation processes.
• Manage data extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, loading, and post-load verification activities.
• Collaborate with business users to establish data ownership, governance, and quality standards.
• Conduct mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and production cutovers.
• Ensure successful migration of:
• Customer / Business Partner Data
• Vendor Master Data
• Material Master Data
• Finance Data
• BOMs and Routings
• Open Transactions
• Historical Data
• Drive data quality initiatives and remediation efforts.

Technical Leadership

• Coordinate SAP development activities involving:
• ABAP
• CDS Views
• Fiori Applications
• BTP Integrations
• APIs
• SAP Interfaces
• Enhancements and Custom Objects
• Review technical specifications and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Support system integration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting activities.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Lead global cross-functional teams across business, functional, technical, integration, testing, and support workstreams.
• Mentor SAP consultants and junior team members.
• Provide executive-level project status updates and presentations.
• Collaborate with PMO, architects, and business leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10-15 years of SAP consulting experience.
• Minimum 2-3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong experience leading SAP transformation programs.
• Extensive experience with SAP data migration projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP data models and cross-module dependencies.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading offshore and distributed teams., * SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional Certifications.
• SAP S/4HANA Certification.
• SAP MDG Certification.
• Experience with SAP BTP and Cloud integrations.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Banking, Utilities, or Supply Chain industries.
• Exposure to Agile and DevOps delivery models.

Preferred Experience

• ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield or Greenfield migrations.
• Large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Multi-country or global SAP deployments.
• Data governance and master data management initiatives.
• Cutover planning, hypercare, and production support leadership.
• Integration with Salesforce, Workday, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or other enterprise platforms.
