Job description

We are seeking a Configuration Manager to maintain end-to-end configuration traceability across engineering documentation, software, hardware, digital models, and technical data packages throughout the system lifecycle. The selected Configuration Manager will have responsibility for the following areas:

  • Lead the preparation and documentation required for product structure and configuration management.
  • Direct the configuration change management process, including evaluating, implementing, and tracking complex changes for specific products.
  • Collaborate with engineers and program managers to achieve strategic objectives and resolve critical configuration issues related to key products.
  • Maintain and manage comprehensive records and documentation related to product configuration management activities
  • Perform and lead comprehensive product audits and verification of product configurations to ensure compliance with the highest customer requirements, applicable NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, RMF, and organizational cybersecurity requirements.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Configuration Manager to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or closely related field.

  • Experience implementing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to maintain digital configuration baselines and ensure traceability between requirements, architecture, design, verification, and configuration-managed artifacts.
  • Experience with digital engineering repositories (e.g., Cameo, Teamcenter, Windchill, Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent) is highly desired.

CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
