Job description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and maintain digital system models that serve as the authoritative technical baseline supporting requirements management, design, integration, verification, and sustainment. The selected Systems Engineer will have responsibility for the following areas:

  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to develop and maintain system architecture, operational concepts, requirements decomposition, interface definitions, and verification traceability throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Ensure systems engineering products incorporate cybersecurity-by-design principles and satisfy applicable NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, DoD RMF, and Zero Trust architectural requirements.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, integration, and test teams to ensure requirements are fully traceable from mission needs through verification and validation.
  • Support Digital Engineering initiatives using SysML, Cameo, or equivalent MBSE tools to improve technical rigor, design consistency, and lifecycle traceability.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or closely related field.

  • Experience integrating systems engineering with Agile, DevSecOps, digital thread, and digital twin methodologies is highly desired.
  • Experience developing, managing, and tracing system requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Experience with systems integration, verification, and validation activities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, interface control documents (ICDs), and engineering specifications.

CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
