Job description
- Design, deploy, and administer HashiCorp Vault across enterprise, AWS Cloud, and AWS Outposts environments.
- Automate Vault provisioning, configuration, and policy management using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Implement and support Vault authentication methods, secrets engines, PKI, dynamic secrets, transit encryption, and token lifecycle management.
- Integrate HashiCorp Vault with ServiceNow to automate secrets management and operational workflows.
- Support integrations with Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS services, and enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Vault administration and automation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Vault environments to ensure high availability, security, and compliance.
- Partner with infrastructure, cloud, security, DevOps, and platform engineering teams to implement enterprise secrets management solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and security best practices.
Requirements
- Strong expertise with HashiCorp Vault administration and enterprise secrets management.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code automation.
- Experience supporting AWS, AWS Outposts, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Vault authentication methods, policies, secrets engines, PKI, certificate management, and encryption.
- Experience integrating Vault with ServiceNow workflows.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), security best practices, and compliance.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure, cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting HashiCorp Vault.
- Proven experience automating infrastructure using Terraform.
- Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience integrating enterprise security platforms with ServiceNow is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting Kubernetes or OpenShift environments is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- HashiCorp, AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
