Job description

As a Design Engineer, you will be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, supporting both new product introduction (NPI) projects and enhancements to existing product ranges.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. \n

  • At least three years' experience in a design engineering position. \n

  • Strong CAD experience, ideally with Creo (or similar 3D CAD software). \n

  • Experience working with sheet metal and fabricated product design. \n

  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) within a production environment. \n

  • Experience with tolerance analysis and D-FMEA methodologies. \n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. \n

  • Working closely with engineering, production, procurement and commercial teams to deliver successful projects. \n
