Job description
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems while supporting end users and collaborating with cross-functional technology teams. The ideal candidate has strong systems administration experience, a proactive mindset, and a passion for solving technical challenges., + Administer, maintain, and support Windows server environments and related infrastructure.

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Support Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.

Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Manage server patching, system upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.

Support virtualization platforms and maintain reliable server operations.

Administer backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, systems, and escalated end-user support issues.

Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, endpoint management, and security best practices.

Support cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure deployments.

Document system configurations, procedures, and technical standards.

Participate in infrastructure enhancement projects and technology implementation initiatives.
Requirements

4+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or related IT roles.

Strong experience administering Windows Server environments and Active Directory.

Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPN technologies.

Experience with endpoint management, patch management, and system monitoring tools.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

Experience supporting Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.

Knowledge of cybersecurity tools, vulnerability management, and security best practices.

Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation tools.

Experience supporting backup solutions and enterprise storage environments.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, VMware, CompTIA Server+, Security+, or similar.

Exposure to enterprise applications, ERP systems, or IT service management platforms.
