  • Use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, cable testers, and power tools to prepare and connect cables accurately.
  • Perform fiber splicing and equipment testing to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools and materials to job sites.
  • Conduct outdoor work including trenching, ladder use, and outdoor cable routing while adhering to safety standards.
  • Install satellite dishes and other telecommunication equipment with precision.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in network installation, telecommunications infrastructure or related field service roles.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet cabling and telephony systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools such as wire strippers, wire crimpers, cable testers, and electrical power tools effectively.
  • Experience with fiber splicing, electrical work, low voltage wiring, and equipment testing procedures.
  • Mechanical aptitude with ladder use, power tools, and outdoor work experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
  • Knowledge of Cisco routers or similar networking equipment is a plus.
  • Electrical experience or background in electrical work is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
