Job description

The Design Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality throughout the product lifecycle, from development to serial production, while acting as the primary interface with customers for quality-related topics. The role includes deployment of customer requirements, management of APQP/PPAP activities, resolution of customer issues, and implementation of continuous improvement actions to ensure product and process compliance with internal and external requirements.________________________________________Key Responsibilities / Responsabilidades clave:

  • Deploy customer quality requirements during product and process development

  • Create and maintain Project Quality Plans

  • Lead APQP activities and ensure compliance with customer requirements

  • Perform risk analysis, Defect elimination plan, Design and Process FMEA

  • Validate prototype builds and product/process qualification

  • Develop control plans and First piece Last Piece check list

  • Lead claim analysis during development.

  • Manage Customer PPAP.

  • Manage supplier PPAP & supplier process qualification.

  • Ensure compliance with REACH, ROHS, IMDS requirements and other regulation and give evidence to customers.

  • Other duties as assigned.________________________________________

Requirements

3 years of experience in the Quality Department within aerospace or automotive industry.________________________________________ Education / Educación: Master degree in Engineering or Quality________________________________________Skills and Attributes / Habilidades y atributos:

  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FAIR, D/PFMEA, Control Plans

  • Experience with SPC, MSA, capability analysis, and risk management

  • Problem-solving expertise (8D, root cause analysis)

  • Auditor knowledge (VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, AS9100)

  • Excellent communication and customer interface skills

  • Strong project management and prioritization abilities
