Job description

Guard the gate: Verify every inbound material against documentation, confirm counts and condition, and ensure items are correctly identified and labeled for traceability. Protect the inventory: Store to specification-environmental controls, handling rules, and segregation as required-so parts remain audit-ready. Make it visible: Maintain complete, accurate records (lot/serial, packing lists, bills of lading, inventory reports) to AS9100 requirements. Close the loop: Conduct counts and audits, reconcile discrepancies, and collaborate on corrective actions. Keep teams moving: Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Quality on shortages, priorities, and delivery schedules.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience in materials handling within aerospace/defense/aviation or manufacturing.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Confidence using inventory systems and standard office software; fast, accurate documentation skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects; safe operation of material handling equipment.
  • Clear communicator, team-oriented, and highly organized.
  • AS9102 exposure (first article inspection documentation) preferred; Lean/CI familiarity is a plus.
