Requirements
Lifeline of Galveston County is looking for an organized, proactive Operations Coordinator to help keep our growing animal rescue running smoothly.
This role supports nearly every aspect of our organization from adoptions and foster care to transport, appointment scheduling, data management, and day-to-day operations. While there are occasional responsibilities at our adoption center, much of the work can be completed remotely.
If you have previous shelter or rescue experience and enjoy creating systems, solving problems, and helping a mission-driven team accomplish more, we'd love to hear from you.
Is this role right for you?
Animal welfare is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be emotionally demanding and fast-paced. Every day brings new challenges, changing priorities, and opportunities to make a direct impact on the lives of animals and the people who care about them.
We're looking for someone who finds purpose in meaningful work, stays calm under pressure, takes initiative, and enjoys solving problems. If you're looking for a predictable office job with the same routine every day, this probably isn't the right fit. If you're looking for a laid-back easy job, this probably isnt for you. If you're excited by the opportunity to help build a growing organization that saves lives every day, we'd love to hear from you.
