Job description
We are seeking a Network Site Audit Technician to perform onsite assessments at healthcare facilities including hospitals, clinics, and administrative offices. The technician will be responsible for collecting site-specific network and infrastructure information to support the evaluation and deployment of Starlink-based Out-of-Band (OOB) connectivity solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of networking principles, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently while traveling extensively throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout WA, OR, and Western MT.
Conduct onsite network and infrastructure audits according to established project procedures., Take photographs of network rooms, wiring, equipment, and exterior installation areas.
Verify and document site readiness requirements for Starlink and OOB deployment.
Complete standardized audit forms, checklists, and reports.
Escalate concerns, risks, or site-specific challenges to project leadership.
Maintain accurate records and submit findings in a timely manner.
Represent the client professionally while interacting with site personnel and facility staff.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in networking, telecommunications, IT support, field services, or related technical roles.
Basic understanding of networking concepts including:
LAN/WAN connectivity
Routers and switches
IP addressing
Network closets and structured cabling
Familiarity with Starlink, wireless networking, cellular connectivity, or Out-of-Band networking solutions is preferred.
Experience collecting technical information and maintaining accurate documentation.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and mobile documentation tools.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the project region, including overnight travel as needed., Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Networking, or Telecommunications.
CompTIA Network+, CCNA coursework, or similar networking training.
Previous experience conducting site surveys, audits, or infrastructure assessments.
Experience working in healthcare, enterprise, or distributed network environments.
Familiarity with Starlink installations, satellite communications, or network resiliency solutions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk healthcare campuses and office facilities.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment up to 25 pounds.
Comfortable accessing telecommunications rooms, network closets, and exterior survey locations.
Ability to climb ladders or access rooftop observation points when permitted and required.

This is a Contract position based out of Spokane, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
