SAP ABAP / Fiori Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP / Fiori Developer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of custom SAP Fiori applications within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

The selected candidate will work on solutions supporting business processes across SAP Project System (PS), Financial Accounting (FI), and Warehouse Management (WM). This is a hands-on technical role with a strong focus on developing modern SAP applications using ABAP, CDS Views, OData services, SAP Gateway, SAPUI5, and SAP Fiori technologies.

The ideal candidate will combine strong ABAP development experience with knowledge of the S/4HANA development model and the ability to build responsive, user-friendly SAP Fiori applications. The role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, UX specialists, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable SAP solutions., Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Develop backend components using ABAP, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, classes, function modules, and application logic.

Create and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) Views to support transactional applications, analytical scenarios, reporting requirements, and OData services.

Design, develop, and maintain OData services using SAP Gateway and modern S/4HANA development practices.

Develop technical solutions supporting business processes within the SAP PS, FI, and WM modules.

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate functional specifications into effective technical designs.

Develop and enhance RICEFW objects, including:

o Reports

o Interfaces

o Conversions

o Enhancements

o Forms

o Workflows

Implement SAP enhancement technologies such as BAdIs, user exits, enhancement points, and implicit or explicit enhancements.

Perform debugging, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical issue resolution across SAP backend and Fiori applications.

Optimize ABAP code, CDS Views, OData services, and SAPUI5 applications to ensure performance, scalability, and system stability.

Configure and troubleshoot SAP Fiori Launchpad components, including catalogs, tiles, target mappings, roles, spaces, and pages.

Support unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-production activities.

Prepare technical specifications, solution documentation, deployment instructions, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, upgrade, and support initiatives.

Ensure that all developments follow SAP coding standards, security requirements, clean-core principles, and development best practices.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Proven professional experience as an SAP ABAP Developer in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

Hands-on experience developing custom SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications.

Strong knowledge of ABAP development, including:

o ABAP Developments

o ABAP Dictionary

o Reports and ALV

o Function modules and BAPIs

o Enhancements and BAdIs

o Debugging and performance analysis

Practical experience creating and extending ABAP CDS Views.

Strong understanding of OData services, SAP Gateway, and frontend-to-backend integration.

Experience working with XML Views, data binding, models, fragments, controllers, routing, and reusable components in SAPUI5.

Knowledge of SAP Fiori design principles and SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration.

Experience developing and supporting RICEFW objects.

Familiarity with SAP transport management and application deployment across development, quality assurance, and production environments.

Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and convert them into maintainable SAP solutions.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and geographically distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing solutions for one or more of the following SAP modules:

o SAP Project System (PS)

o SAP Financial Accounting (FI)

o SAP Warehouse Management (WM)

Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA custom development and extensibility.

Knowledge of CDS annotations, associations, analytical queries, virtual elements, and authorization controls.

Experience with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Fiori Elements.

Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP Business Application Studio.

Experience with SAP HANA performance optimization and code pushdown techniques.

Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts related to Fiori applications, OData services, and backend objects.
