Job description
As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices., + Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities

Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration

Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements

Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements

Requirements

Formal training or certification on Java concepts and 8+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Proficiency with programming languages like Java is a must, SQL and experience in Spring boot, Micro services, AWS

Hands-on experience in RDBMS; Oracle or PostgresSQL

Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods

Hands-on experience in AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS KMS, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, AWS S3, EMR, Athena, SQS, EventBridge, PostgresSQL

Hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning Tools like Terraform & Cloud Formation etc

Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in AI driven development and transformation

Practical cloud native experience

In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT system
