Job description

Dynamic, Creative and Intuitive individual to help manage the IT infrastructure within our warehouse in Franklin, IN. Supporting the facility, end user, and other technical issues within the daily operations of the local network and IT hardware. Serves as the ambassador for the IT Department and provide end user support of information system and communication within the business. The main mission of this role includes but are not limited to items below.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Warehouse systems including Hardware and software support and troubleshooting.

· Supporting the front office including Hardware, Software, and troubleshooting daily issues.

· Basic user support on common systems (such as Microsoft office 365 and Teams)

· Hardware troubleshooting and replacement of Zebra Mobile Devices and Printers.

· Support users' needs based on request from Email, Team, Text messages and/or Phone Calls within the scope of defined standards.

· Work with other members of IT Shared Services to provide speedy solutions to user issues.

· Keep IT management up to date with local and system changes or request from users.

· Desktop/Laptop setup, configuration, support and distribution.

· LAN and Wireless Network Troubleshooting and Support.

· Provide knowledge transfer to other IT staff in support of their roles.

· Mentor other local IT staff on policies, procedures and support tools.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the plant leadership and the IT Manager.

· Responsible for setup, maintenance, tracking and support of all technology assets.

· Creation and updating of internal training materials Lesson Learned.

· Ensures availability continuity, and security of information and data at all times.

· Follows all nGROUP policies and procedures including but not limited to, harassment awareness and prevention and Respectful Workplace

· Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects nGROUP' s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and respect for all individuals.

· Provide feedback regarding areas of opportunity.

· Perform or assist in any other ad-hoc IT duties includes updates and maintenance to nGROUP.

· Working knowledge of VPN, DNS, DHCP, and VoIP technologies.

· On occasion, duties may require the wearing of proper safety equipment in areas where such equipment is required.

· Must be a self-starter and successful with minimal supervision.

Requirements

· Problem solving skill set - must be able to address multiple problems simultaneously.

· Strong time management and prioritization capabilities.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive or confidential matters.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or Mathematics

· 2+ years of experience in IT services, IT consultancy, or MSP supporting multiple external clients preferred.

· Thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.

· Comprehensive knowledge of Zebra Hardware and Barcode technologies.

· Experience working with virus and malware prevention, detection, and removal.

Language Skills:

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures.

· Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
