PayPal, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer Full Stack in Chicago, IL, Job Duties: Software Architecture, Development and Implementation. Maintain Existing Merchant Onboarding Platform, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement. Collaborate with Principal Architects to create stories for the team that align with the release roadmap. Partial telecommuting permitted from a commutable distance
Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:

Agile software development in Java and Spring boot for building backend services (5 years)

RESTful APIs for integrating backend systems and services. (5 years)

Message Queues and building scalable, event-driven systems. (3 years)

Unit and integration testing using JUnit. (5 years)

Git for version control and collaborative development (5 years)

Troubleshoot and optimize backend systems for performance. (5 years)

Monitoring, Observability, Profiling and optimization for distributed systems (5 years)
